Yesterday I listened to the story of a young wife and mother who shared how her journey from brokenness, fear and hopelessness was under pinned by a nation that has a safety net, by the love and sacrifice of many people who encouraged her on her journey, of her faith and relationship with her maker that rebuilt her hope and healed her brokenness. Her story was not one where everything is perfect or good but one where good triumphed, where love, acceptance and forgiveness overcame darkness and pain.
